The Bridge exists to offer support, provide safety, and
prevent domestic and sexual violence.

Services
The Bridge offers an array of supportive services to meet individual needs. To begin to access services you will need to contact the 24-hour information and crisis hotline at 713.473.2801. All services and contacts are strictly confidential. If you are in immediate danger call 911.

Services available include:

24-hour crisis and information/referral hotline
75-bed emergency shelter
Comprehensive case-management (resident/non-resident assessments, support/education groups, counseling, and access to community resources)
24-hour advocacy and accompaniment (at hospitals, police departments, court, and other agencies)
On-site children's services (including childcare, skill development, parent/child assessments, support/education groups, wellness exams, public school advocacy, transportation, and other supportive services at the permanent housing program and emergency shelter)
8-units of transitional housing for single women
41-units of permanent housing for women with a disability and children in their care
Life skills/Parenting classes
Community outreach and prevention/education

Donations
To aid The Bridge in its mission to serve women and children in crisis please call The Bridge directly at 713.472.0753. For every dollar received 89 cents goes into direct services. Any and all donations make an impact in the lives of women and children in crisis and no donation is considered too little or too small.
